Shipping Times
Order shipment times vary widely depending on the number of orders we receive each day. Orders are typically shipped in no more than 3 to 4 business days except during our peak season.
More specific shipping times are listed for each individual product and this information can be found by clicking on the product link
on our website (under the "What's Included:" section). Often times, we also include a banner on our home page that will state our current shipping times (we update this daily).
Please note! If you find the shipping times
have changed from one day to the next, please do not be alarmed. We are simply trying to keep our shipping time estimates as accurate
as possible depending on the level of orders we are receiving each day.
Also, please be aware that, although we try very hard to get orders out on time, we are unable to make any guarantees as to when an order will ship.
You should receive a shipping notification via e-mail when your order ships. If you feel you need to cancel your order due to a delay with shipping, no problem! Please refer to our cancellation policy below for details
on how to request an order or item cancellation.
Order Cancellations
Orders or items in an order can be cancelled anytime prior to shipment. Due to the administrative efforts of cancelling/adjusting orders, we do charge a $10.00 cancellation fee for each order cancellation (or if you
cancelling one or several items in an order, the total cancellation fee will never exceed $10.00). This fee will be waived if you are immediately placing a new order of equal
or greater value.
To cancel your order, please call us at our toll-free number so that we can cancel the order immediately and stop the order before it has shipped. For those customers that
send us an e-mail requesting that part of the order be cancelled or the entire order be cancelled, please know that often times it can take our customer service team up to
two business days to respond to your request. Therefore, we require advanced notice of two business days if you choose to cancel or adjust your order via a request by e-mail. If your order
ships prior to that time, this means we were unable to get to your request and you will need to refer our return policy to receive a refund.
Backorders
Products marked with a status of "*Backordered" in your shopping cart are currently on backorder. Feel free to purchase the item now and it will be shipped as soon as it
arrives back in stock in our warehouse. Please know that if there are additional items in your order that we currently have in stock, we will ship those items right away.
We do not hold orders to wait for a backordered item. Please also know that we will never charge you additional shipping fees at a later date because there were multiple shipments on your order.
To see the estimated date of when we expect a particular backordered item to be back in stock, please click on the product on our website.
Payment
Due to limitations with our website, payment will be initiated at the time of purchase (and not when the order ships). In the instance that the item purchased is a pre-order
or backordered item, payment is still required at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any exceptions to this policy.
If you would like to cancel your order, no problem! We can cancel your order and refund the entire purchase price for the item plus any related shipping (less any cancellation fees).
Please refer to our cancellation policy above for further details on how to request a cancellation.
We ask that customers please do not dispute the credit card charge as this only causes us to incur a $25.00 non-refundable administrative charge assessed by our credit card merchant
which the customer will then be responsible for.
Please know we are working to improve our process so that payments will not be charged until the order actually ships, however, this is a more difficult feat to automate
than we originally thought so it is taking us some time to work through this issue.
Free Shipping Offers
Often times we offer free shipping promotions for orders over a certain dollar amount, for pre-ordered items, or with a coupon. Other items that receive free shipping will be designated as "Free Shipping!"
in the product title on the website. If your shipping address is outside of the United States, please note that all advertised free shipping offers will not apply.
Price Matching
We cannot price match other competitor's prices nor can we offer a refund due to price adjustments on our own website unless the order has not shipped. If an item goes on sale and your order has not shipped, feel free to call us and request
that your order be cancelled so that you can place a new order to receive the sale price. If your order has already shipped, you will need to follow our exchange policy in order
to return the item and re-purchase it during the sale period to receive the sale price.
Shipment Refusals
In the event that you refuse your shipment, you are responsible for all related shipping fees on the shipment and any fees related to the refusal of the shipment.
Disputed Payments
Customers are responsible for all fees associated with a disputed credit card charge (i.e., a credit card chargeback) which results in action from our credit card merchant. The fee
charged by our merchant is typically $25.00.
Shipping Charges, Sales Tax & Duties
Item pricing on our website does not include shipping and handling, sales taxes, or duties. Any shipping and handling fees or sales tax due, if applicable, will be added to the purchase price during checkout.
Currently, we are required by law to only charge sales tax on orders with a shipping address in Illinois.
For customers located outside of the United States, you are responsible for all duties and taxes assessed at the time your order is delivered.
Due to the large number of countries and provinces we ship to, we are unable to calculate the duties that may be assessed on your shipment.
Please check with your local customs officials for rates.
Pricing
Prices offered on our website are quoted in U.S. Dollars.
If the amount you pay and/or are quoted for an item is incorrect, regardless of whether it is an error in a price posted on our website or otherwise communicated to you, then
we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to cancel your order and refund to you the amount that you paid. This policy will apply regardless of how the error occurred.
Customers are responsible for all fees associated with a disputed PayPal transaction which results in action from PayPal. The fee
charged by PayPal is typically $25.00.
Right to Sell
We reserve the right to limit sales, including the right to prohibit sales.
Governing Law & Venue
This Agreement, the entire relationship between you and Custom Crops, and any litigation or other legal proceeding between you and Custom Crops (whether grounded in tort,
contract, law or equity) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without giving effect to its choice of law rules. This
contract is fully performable in Will County, Illinois.
