These mats are much better than when they originally issued. They have enough tack to hold the heavier cardstock. Don't forget to rotate them periodically to prolong the use of the mat. You can alos try the spray adhesive that they sell here to add additonal longevity to the mats. Custom Crops does have the best prices I have found.

I have to agree with most of the reviews I'v read. These are a must and custom crops has the best prices. I can't stress enough the need to move your paper around on the mat so as to utilize the full surface area. If you are cutting small items this can be accomplished fairly easily.

The cutting mats are a necessity when using the Cricut machines. This size works with the original Cricut. Be sure to replace the plastic cover when you're not using a mat...It will help prolong the stickiness by ensuring dust does not collect on the mat. The plastic cover should give resistance when removing, or it's time to replace the mat. Bottom line...you HAVE to use the mats with the Cricut machines...and Custom Crops has the best prices I've found.
