My item is backordered and I wasn't notified. Why?
We try to keep our inventory counts as accurate as possible, so as to avoid backorders altogether or at least notify you when a product is backordered during checkout. If you were not notified of the backorder during checkout, it is likely because of one of two reasons. Either we made a mistake with our inventory counts or we have continual shipments of the particular item you ordered coming to us and the supplier unexpectedly delayed a shipment or ran out of stock and we were unaware of it. Almost always, we send an automated e-mail notifying customers when an item is backorderd within 1 business day of receiving your order. However, sometimes our messages do wind up in your spam folder or are blocked by e-mail servers that think the message is spam.
