My son is quite obsessed with all things super hero, the good thing is he likes the good guys way better then the bad guys! I had some cute pictures of him intently playing his game boy in his Superman shirt, but no Superman paper or goodies to go with.
But what is that I see? A bird? A plane? No a Superman Cricut cartridge to the rescue! I figured I would use some of the cuts to draw my patterned paper and I love how it turned out. And even better news? The cut file is just below this article for you to download to make your own Superman paper!
It all started with adding some squares from George and designs from Superman in Design Studio.
Then I added a 12x12 sheet of white cardstock to my mat, and I cut the cut page, then without removing the mat and being careful not to move the blade housing, I added the red pen in the gel pen holder and drew the red draw page. Be prepared for it to take awhile as there is a lot for it to draw.
Then again without removing the mat, switch out the red pen for the blue pen and draw the blue draw page. Unload your paper and you have your patterned paper!

Next I added scraps of paper to my mat for the title page. I thought I was going to use blue for the bottom layer, but switched it to red like my son's shirt. You can choose either color.

Then I added the 4 pieces of patterned paper to my background cardstock, added my photos, and the layered title.

Again I added scraps of paper to my mat to cut out a Superman head.

I then layered the Superman cuts together and popped them up off the page with some pop dots.

I then got out my Cuttlebug and some of the Quickutz chipboard and using the A, B, B sandwich, I cut stars out. I then did the same thing with yellow cardstock and layered the 2 so they would have a little lift.

The last step was adding some journaling strips, and my layered stars to the page, and for a little more pizazz, I used yellow Stickles to outline my titles and stars.
And there you have it! A Superman layout sure to please your boys!
