1. Cut a piece of Paprika (darkest shade) to measure 8" x 9". Using your scoring blade put a fold at the 4" mark so the folded card base measures 4" x 9".

2. Cut a piece of Flamingo Lily (medium shade) to measure 3 1/2" x 8 1/2".

3. Cut a piece of Salmon (lightest shade) to measure 3" x 8 1/2".

4. Cut a piece of Wicker Chair (WhiteWash) to measure 2 1/2" x 8 1/2".

5. Take the piece of Wicker Chair (WhiteWash) and use a border punch to enhance one side or length. I used Fiskars' Effervescence Border Punch for this project.

6. Take the piece of Flamingo Lily and place it in an embossing folder. I used a Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for this project. Be sure to note the direction in which the paper was placed into the folder. This allows you to emboss both ends by matching up the dots for the second time through the machine.

6 cont'd. Emboss the entire length of the Flamingo Lily by running it through the embossing machine a second time.

7. Using a sanding block or sanding paper, sand the dots to reveal the colour core of the cardstock.

8. Along one side or length of the Salmon, tear a 1/4" to 1/2" strip off the edge. This also reveals the cardstock's colour core.

9. Using your sanding block or sand paper again, firmly sand the edges of the Wicker Chair (WhiteWash) cardstock. WhiteWash has a much thicker coating so you will need to press more firmly or use a higher grit sand paper in order to reveal its colour core.

10. Take all three layers of the cardstock and adhere them together with a reliable tape runner or glue. DO NOT attach them to the base of the card just yet.

11. Using a Corner Chomper by We R' Memory Keepers, round the top two corners of the card, leaving the bottom two unrounded.

12. Using an aggressive adhesive (i.e., glue) attach all three layers to the base of the card.

13. Cut two 8" lengths of brown twine or ribbon. Attach a Glue Dot to one end of each string and, using your fingernail, gently lift the top and bottom edge of the card and stick the twine or ribbon in place, approximately 3/4" from the edge.

14. Tie a bow with the two lengths of twine or ribbon in the upper right-hand area of the card.

15. Adhere the chipboard flower and then letters to the card. You may want to use addition glue on the back of the chipboard to ensure that it remains attached during the shipping/mailing process. Share the love!
