I would definitely not call myself a card maker. As a matter of fact, this is only the second card I have ever made with my Cricut! When I got the new Sweet Treats cartridge it was right up my alley and I knew it would make the perfect Birthday card for my mom this month. Click to enlarge image.
All the pieces of the ice cream dish were cut at 4 inches using Bazzill Bling with exception to the black shadow. Click to enlarge image.
Many pieces of the design were run through the Cuttlebug. Click to enlarge image.
Swiss Dots, Divine Swirl, Mesh and Forest Branches Embossing Folders were used. Some pieces were attached with pop dots. Click to enlarge image.
The Gel Pen Holder was used to write Happy Birthday also from the Sweet Treats cartridge. It was drawn and cut at 1 inch. The shadow was cut first. Then the load paper button was pushed to bring housing back to beginning of the design. I changed the housing to the Gel Pen and pushed the down arrow once and the left arrow once. Then hit cut and the Happy Birthday was drawn. Click to enlarge image.
