My lil Turkey layout with Gel Pen Holder by Amy

Last Thanksgiving Ella made this cute turkey hat in preschool and wore it all day Thanksgiving, so of course I kept calling her my lil turkey! And I do have to say she played the part all day!

I started out by adding all of my scraps to my paper. When I do my cut files, I always make sure they line up, so in the upper right corner, they are all 2 inch strips. You can get this one at the bottom of the page.

I cut the cut page.

Then without removing the mat, I removed the blade housing (be careful not to move the blade carriage as you need the cuts to line up), put in the gel pen holder, and draw the draw page.

I layered all of the turkey body pieces and used the Copic Markers to color in some of the lettering and what was left of the turkey.

I then added my papers and turkey pieces to the page.

I used one of the Quickutz embossing folders in my Cuttlebug with the A, B, B sandwich.

I used the Ranger Distress inks on the edge of my embossed paper and used the Tim Holtz distressing tool to rought up the edges while they were still wet with the ink. Being it was a large journaling box, I cut it down so it didn't overwhelm the page.

And last of all my absolute favorite part of any page, adding some embellishments! I love these artsy.licious brads and buttons! And there you have it! Another page done!
